Hardspace: Shipbreaker has finally left Early Access and launched Version 1.0. Those following the game know that it's been quite a while since it had its start as a five-day "game jam."
In celebration of the 1.0 release, developer Blackbird Interactive is planning to launch a double vinyl edition of the game's original soundtrack. It's available for $39.99 and those interested can pre-order it here.
In Hardspace: Shipbreaker, players take on the role of a member of LYNX, the leader in spaceship salvaging. Salvaging ships in zero gravity is a way to turn the past of humanity into its future. Each one is a puzzle and it's up to players to find a way to solve it.
For the 1.0 release, here are some of the features that players can look forward to:
- Campaign Act 3
- The conclusion to the game’s storyline.
- Ship Saving
- Save in-progress salvage for later.
- Progression Revamp
- Completely rebalanced based on the latest feedback and data.
- Steam Achievements
It’s not just new content and features since there are also bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and other updates. In-game updates, for example, include:
- LYNX Corporate is pleased to announce that the EverWork Calibration Program is complete.
- Regeneration failures have reached an acceptable level for roll-out to all divisions.
- Early Access Shipbreakers are thanked for their many, many contributions to the program.
- Speak to the Supervisor about a complimentary Fee Rebate Form for 10% off the next regeneration.
- To New Recruits, LYNX Salvage Division welcomes you to the LYNX family, now with the highest guarantee of safety and protection in history.
