The newest expansion for Hearthstone is coming out on August 2. Murder at Castle Nathria comes with 135 all-new cards, the new Infuse keyword, and an all-new Location card type, to name a few. A lot of players are likely looking forward to what's offered in the new Rewards Track.
Once the new expansion goes live, any unclaimed rewards on the current free Rewards Track and the Tavern Pass track are immediately granted; a new Rewards Track becomes available at the same time.
Free Rewards Tracks
The free Rewards Track for Murder at Castle Nathria includes:
- Packs from Murder at Castle Nathria
- Standard packs
- Tavern Tickets
- Random Epic card
- Two random Legendary cards
- Sir Finley Epic Mercenary Card
- Revendreth card back
- Gold
Tavern Pass
There's also a new Tavern Pass that players can buy; it offers an infusion of new cosmetic rewards and XP boosts.
Buying the Tavern Pass at any point during the expansion grants:
- Access to the Diamond Murloc Holmes Legendary minion
- 10% XP Boost that lasts the rest of the duration of the expansion
- All other items up to the current level of the player on the paid track
As players progress with the Tavern Pass, they can also get:
- Additional XP Boosts
- Golden Prince Renathal Legendary minion
- Two Golden Insatiable Devourer Epic minions
- Prince Renathal hero skin and card back
- Nine additional Hearthstone hero skins
- New Battlegrounds Bartender
- Five murder-mystery-themed Battlegrounds hero skins
- Three Sir Finley Mercenaries Portraits
- New cosmetic coin
It should be noted that Battlegrounds Perks aren't included in the Tavern Pass. Under Patch 24.0, the Battlegrounds base emotes are going to be available to all players. In addition, players that bought Battlegrounds Perks can still enjoy all other Battlegrounds Perks from the current Battlegrounds season. That's because they've been extended until the next Battlegrounds season, which arrives with Patch 24.0.
Diamond Cards
There are two Diamond Cards available in the new expansion and they can be obtained by:
- Murloc Holmes
- Can be obtained immediately after buying the Tavern Pass and claiming the card on the Rewards Track.
- Decimator Olgra
- Obtained by completing the Murder at Castle Nathria Legendary Collector Achievement.
- Players need to own 25 Murder at Castle Nathria Legendary cards.
