A luxury hotel in London is offering a 5-star package for guests who want to “Netflix and Chill.” The Andaz London Liverpool Street’s "bed, flix & chill" package facilitates a modern hookup in a more sophisticated environment for £189 ($263.40 at £.72 to the dollar).
The package includes unlimited in-room movies, a premium snack box and a complimentary 2 p.m. late check out. Other perks include a full English breakfast, a chilled bottle of Prosecco, a complimentary mini-bar including non-alcoholic drinks and 25% off room service and health club treatments.
“Binge watch back to back movies from the luxurious comfort of the five star Andaz London hotel,” writes the hotel on its website. “Whether you’re cuddling up to your partner or planning a singles slumber party, this blockbuster package has everything for the perfect night in. And for those who want to venture out, Shoreditch is just a stone’s throw away.”
If you are not in the UK and want something stateside, then an Airbnb in New York City has you covered. Courtesy of Tom Galle and internet-art company ART404, users can rent a “Netflix and Chill” room in the city’s West Village neighborhood. For $400 a night, guests can stay in a loft apartment equipped with a digital projector, custom-made Netflix themed sheets, and a minibar stocked with alcohol.
“We just play around a lot with Internet culture with things that are happening,” Art404 member Moises Sanadria told the New York Daily News. “We were looking for a translation from URL to IRL.”
