Overwatch 2 may not be officially launched, but fans are already playing its beta version. The developer released a small patch for this ongoing beta, solely focused on balancing changes.
Only three heroes have been tweaked, namely, Baptiste, Mercy, and Sojourn. Let’s start with Baptiste.
Baptiste’s Regenerative Burst went through a couple of changes. Instead of healing 100 over time, it will now heal 50 instantly and 50 as time goes by. If the target has 50% health or lower, the instant heal portion will be doubled. Despite this slight buff, a nerf came through as well. The Regenerative Burst ability will no longer heal Baptiste twice.
Mercy received a minor tweak. Players can now cancel Mercy’s Guardian Angel ability by using the crouch button. However, if the key is used, the player will be launched into the air.
Sojourn’s Railgun received a much-needed buff. The weapon's primary rate of fire is increased to 15 shots per second, and the maximum ammo is increased to 45.
The patch notes are mentioned below as well.
