A Plague Tale: Requiem is finally out on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. The game is a direct sequel to the award-winning and critically acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence.
The story is set six months after the events of the first game. This time, siblings Amicia and Hugo de Rune need to travel to Southern France and find an island that may hold the cure for the mysterious blood disease of Hugo. It's not going to be easy as Hugo continues to be overwhelmed with his newfound powers. Meanwhile, Amicia must deal with the emotional trauma of killing enemies and other actions that she did to protect herself and her brother.
Fans of the first game should be happy to know that this new title remains true to the defining sense of history and strong narrative direction of the series. This new one, however, expands the game’s possibilities by giving players extra freedom through a more open environment.
Players now have the option to unleash hell of a strike from the shadows. They can choose to use new resources available to Amicia like alchemy to manipulate fire and the crossbow for long-distance power. Amicia can also use the terrain and specific abilities to get out of an enemy's grasp.
Collector’s Edition
Players choose from two editions with the first one being the Standard Edition. The second is the Collector's Edition that has the base game and these extra goodies:
- The statue "Amicia & Hugo."
- A 21cm/8" resin statuette, finely detailed and painted.
- Hugo's Feather brooch.
- A fine metal brooch inspired by the feather ornaments worn by Hugo in the game.
- A vinyl of the OST.
- The enthralling soundtrack of the game on a 45rpm vinyl (2 tracks), composed by Olivier Derivière (2 tracks).
- 3 lithographs.
- Amazing A4 illustrations of A Plague Tale: Requiem.

Protector Pack
The PC version may not have a physical edition but players have something else they can enjoy. This is the Protector Pack that contains:
- Exclusive Red Damsel crossbow skin.
- Unlocked in the game when the crossbow is found.
- The 13 flowers Amicia could find in A Plague Tale: Innocence to wear in her hair.
- Unlocked at the beginning of the adventure.
- A pack of metal scraps and a tool to improve gear early on.
- Unlocked in the game when accessing a workbench for the first time.
