The Daybreak update for Pokémon Legends: Arceus is now available. It brings a ton of new content centered around the mass outbreaks of Pokémon in the Hisui Region. Read further to learn more.
New Requests
There are over 27 new requests in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. To access all of the content in the Daybreak update, you must finish the game first. After viewing the end credits, you can then start investigating the mysterious mass outbreaks of Pokémon in the Hisui Region. Head to Mai in the Obsidian Fieldlands to begin.
A Test of Strength
The Eternal Battle Reverie pits you against an endless wave of powerful Pokémon and the battles here will continue until you lose. This is only available after completing all missions in the base game, as well as the new requests added in this update. It is worth mentioning that you also have to complete the incredibly difficult Deified Pokémon mission, where you’ll have to capture every Pokémon in the game.
After doing all of them, Arceus will appear in your dreams and will challenge you to a test of strength. Remember that the enemies you’ll face here are pretty strong, so make sure that you come prepared.
New Training Ground Battles
Aside from the Eternal Battle Reverie, the Training Grounds have new battles to test your mettle as well. You can participate in the newly added Path of Solitude or Path of Tenacity at the Jubilife Village training grounds.
For the Path of Solitude, you’ll choose one of your Pokémon to battle. The challenge is tailored specifically for the Pokémon that you’ve chosen. Completing this will update your Pokédex with a new mark.
In the Path of Tenacity, you will have the chance to battle against the Wardens that you’ve met and faced during your entire journey, including Arezu, Iscan, Lian, and Mai. Expect to go against the toughest Pokémon in three consecutive battles.
Other Notable Additions
After finishing all of the new requests, the people that you’ve met during your travels will come and visit the photography studio, where you’ll be able to take some photographs with them.
If you are in for some fun, you can try the new balloon race challenge in the Coronet Highlands. Use one of the many available Pokémon that you can ride and complete the challenge.
Aguav Berries are now available too. These berries not only heal half of your Pokémon’s HP, but they can stun wild Pokémon as well. They can be acquired in two ways. First, you can have Colza plant the berries for you by paying 20,000. Additionally, you can get them from the outbreaks in the Hisui Region by looking at specific enemies with the Berry’s icon on top of their heads.
