The Pokémon Company has revealed that a special distribution event will begin in July. A Shiny Hidden Ability Mewtwo will be distributed to anyone who participated in any of the Play! Pokémon VGC events, including the International Battle Challenge competitions.
An email with the code for Shiny Mewtwo will be sent out starting in July. Rhe code expires Aug. 21. You can download the special Mewtwo onto either your Pokémon X and Y or Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games.
This is the same method that the June Mew Event , w h e r e the Hidden Ability Legendary Birds , Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos were distributed.
This special Mewtwo is the same one that was distributed in Japan and comes with the Hidden Ability Unnerve, which doesn’t let opposing Pokémon use held berries. It will also be holding Mewtwonite Y, allowing this Mewtwo to Mega Evolve into Mega Mewtwo Y.
Mewtwo comes with the attacks Psystrike, Psychic, Recover and Aura Sphere and is already at level 100.
