The Super Bowl LVI is less than a week away. To celebrate this highly anticipated sports event, a new limited-time mode is now available in Rocket League. Gridiron LTM promises hard-hitting action from today, February 9, until February 15.
The title should make it clear that this LTM is inspired by American football. Players need to finish challenges to gain XP and unlock NFL Wheels and Field General Player Title. For this LTM, the ball attaches to the car of the players when they touch. That's the easy part though. Once they have the ball, players need to rush and jump over the defense and make sure the ball stays on their side. A successful field goal gives the team a score of three points. Running it home and then scoring gives the team seven points.
Gridiron Games
With the arrival of the Gridiron LTM, players can also enjoy the Gridiron Games on Twitch. It’s an exhibition match that has some of the biggest names in the game. The rules are simple. There are four teams with four players each and they play four quarters to determine the champion. This event is going to be hosted by RLCS pro and First Touch host Roll Dizz, and Coach and Content Creator Virge.
The Gridiron Games starts February 10 and the teams are:

NFL Fan Pass
Players can get the 2021 NFL Fan Pass and those who buy it automatically get the latest bundle, which has the Breakout and Fennec Animated Decals for all the 32 NFL teams. There are even new Team Helmet Toppers to match them. Buying the pass also gives players access to all content from previous releases like the Dominus and Octane Decals for all 32 teams. The NFL Fan Pass can be purchased at the Item Shop at 1,000 Credits. This pass is available from February 9 to February 15.
