On Scandal Season 6, episode 8, which airs at 9 p.m. EDT Thursday on ABC, viewers will see Abby making a deal with the secret organization, which orchestrated the assassination of president-elect Francisco Vargas, and also ordered a hit on Huck.
Huck was shot by a woman named Meg, whom he was interested in dating. However, he and Olivia were suspicious of her super-innocent demeanor. Huck threatened her life, but Meg was able to trick Huck and Olivia into thinking she did not have any ulterior motives.
Meg claimed to be a friend of Jennifer Fields, the woman who called in the tip that Cyrus Beene killed Francisco Vargas. Fields was in witness protection, set up by Jake Ballard. But when Huck took Meg to see Jennifer, Meg shot her dead. She then turned her gun on Huck. Viewers also learned that Abby is the person who ordered the hit and that she is working with this secret organization.
An episode 8 preview shows Abby talking with the same people from the organization that forced Eli Pope to kill Francisco Vargas. The people offered $300 million to work with her team, likely in effort to get Mellie into the White House. From what we have already gathered, Abby accepted. But the setup may not be good for her in the long run. Meanwhile, viewers still don’t know if Huck survived the shooting.
Why did Abby agree to work with the secret organization? We will find out in the upcoming Season 6 episode 8, called “A Stomach for Blood,” which is best viewed on television or live online through ABC Live.
Scandal Season 6 episode 8 premieres at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
