Game Smithing Limited has released a new content patch for the popular action roguelite Soulstone Survivors recently. The Omen of Spring Update brings new seasonal skills that can be obtained by finishing the Ritual of Love challenge, which you can complete from now until February 26.
How to Complete the Ritual of Love
The new Ritual of Love challenge in Soulstone Survivors is quite easy to accomplish. You have to go to Whispering Grove, where you will find a heart at the bottom left of your spawn point. Destroying it will summon Cupid.
Now, all that’s required is to destroy eight Camor’s Pylons in a single game. This can be done by letting Cupid hit the Pylons with his arrows. The Pylons look like totems with hearts on them, so you cannot miss them.
Given that there are three different achievements, you can actually complete them all in one go by simply doing the challenge on Curse Intensity 34.
So, what are the three seasonal skills that you can get upon successful completion? The first is called Heartbreak Orbs. Activating this launches three orbs that move in a curved line, causing 80 damage upfront and applying bleed to enemies hit. The bleed status effect deals 180 damage over 10 seconds.
The second seasonal skill is known as Camor’s Arrow. When used, you call a large arrow that lands at the targeted area, dealing 3,000 damage divided equally among all enemies hit. These enemies get stunned for two seconds and are also affected by bleed that deals 600 damage over 10 seconds.
The last skill is Heartrending Strike. This is an active skill where you slash targets in the direction you’re aiming at, dealing 220 damage upfront and transforming all stacks of bleed on the enemy into Hemorrhage.
Hemorrhage is a debuff that deals damage over 10 seconds. Every time the affected target moves a meter, there is a 40% chance that it will take extra damage from Hemorrhage.
Aside from Cupid, you will also find new regular and elite enemies in Whispering Grove. With a new spawning system, you’ll face a variety of monsters on the said map to keep things exciting while you try to unlock the achievements.
