This is it, the final update for Battlefront 2. After more than two years’ worth of free content, Battlefront 2 finally is coming to an end. Yesterday, the developers released the last update, called The Battle on Scarif, that added tons of new content along with several other changes. The update is now live on every platform for free.
As the name suggests, the Scarif map has been added in Supremacy, Instant Action, Co-Op mission, Heroes vs. Villains, and Hero Showdown modes. Older maps released with Age of Rebellion (Death Star II, Hoth, Yavin 4, Tatooine) will also be joining the ranks of Supremacy and Instant Action game modes. New missions for both Attack and Defender sides are added in Instant Action so that you can play them solo with computer-controlled AI. The MC85 Star Cruiser and Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer are also added in Co-Op missions.
That’s not all, as Heroes Vs. Villains and Hero Showdown are getting Crait as well, and there are new appearances for Rey and Darth Maul which can be unlocked via Milestones. Additional appearances for Rey, Kylo Ren, and Emperor Palpatine are also available for all players. Most of the important changes are mentioned below, but if you want to read all the changes then click here.
