Star Wars: Episode 8 wraps primary photography July 22 (coincidentally, the release date for Star Trek Beyond ) but filming is now complete for both John Boyega, who plays Finn, and Anthony Daniels, who has appeared in all seven previous Star Wars episodes as C-3PO.
To celebrate the end of his work on Episode 8, Boyega posted a new picture from the set to his Instagram account:

With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story up next and Episode 8 not slated to release until Dec. 15, 2017, there’s still a great deal we don’t know about Star Wars: Episode 8 outside of rumors and leaks. But that could change come July 15-17, with director Rian Johnson confirmed to appear at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in London. A teaser trailer announcing the Episode 8 subtitle could be in the offing.
