Super Mario Maker continues to get character updates from Nintendo. The most recent one will be Professor E. Gadd, originally seen in Luigi’s Mansion. The old professor will be available starting on Feb. 4.
The costume can be unlocked by clearing the new event course that will be available starting Feb. 4. Professor E. Gadd joins other recently added costumes, including Daisy and Yamamura the pigeon. Yamamura is the little bird friend who helps you out in Super Mario Maker’s tutorial.
In other Super Mario Maker news, Nintendo has recently released a tool to make Super Mario Maker -themed wallpapers for both your desktop and mobile devices. Simply click this link, scroll down to the device you want to use, and click the picture.
This will launch a window that looks just like Super Mario Maker. From here, make the scene you want. Remember that these will not be animated, so make sure everything looks exactly how you want it to. Once done, scroll down and click the white button with the robot head on it. Save the picture that pops up, and use it as your wallpaper!
