Potential Returning and New Characters

Similar to all of his previous games, fans expect a number of leaks to come out until an official announcement is made. There was one video shared that seemed to indicate a new "Smash Bros." title is coming in the near future.

The leak from HungryBox was originally shared on 4Chan and later shared to Reddit on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. Even the original poster of the Reddit thread said that it was "probably totally fake," Gaming Bible said.

The original leak talked about how "Super Smash Bros. 6" will be released in summer 2026 and is set to bring back the "full roster" of characters. However, it seems like some of them will have their movesets altered.

On top of bringing back original characters, the latest entry is rumored to feature new characters, such as Waluigi, Toon Zelda, Sol BadGuy, and Armorouge and Ceruledge from the "Pokemon" franchise, according to Comic Book.
