Electronic Arts released a new trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 on Wednesday, less than a week after we learned about the game’s upcoming beta test. Our latest look at UFC 2 confirms three exciting additions to the game’s growing list of fighters.

Rather than focus on a particular feature or mechanic from the follow-up to EA Sports UFC, Electronic Arts is taking a moment to put the spotlight on three downloadable fighters being offered to those who pre-order a copy of EA Sports UFC 2. While pre-order offers are hardly new, especially for big publishers like EA, the mystery fighter from UFC 2 might come as a bit of a shock to gamers more accustomed to hearing his name when discussing the 8-bit era. ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson is coming back to video games. In two forms!

Word of Tyson’s involvement won’t come as a huge shock to longtime UFC fans. Tyson can frequently be seen seated next to UFC president Dana White at the organization’s pay-per-view events. It’s also not hard to imagine Tyson, who was known for his devastating knockouts, making the jump to the Ultimate Fighting Championship if the organization had been bigger during the boxer’s hey-day. Interestingly, EA Sports is including two character models for Tyson, pre- and post-face tattoo, which has us wondering if we could see Tyson worked into UFC 2’s career mode somehow.

As if the promise of Mike Tyson weren’t enough, those who pre-order a copy of EA Sports UFC 2 will also get instant access to Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba. Rutten is member of the UFC Hall of Fame, and former heavyweight champion, while Sakuraba is best known for earning his nickname (“The Gracie Killer”) be securing wins over Renzo, Royce, Royler and Ryan Gracie. All three of the legendary fighters can also be unlocked by playing the game; however, those who pre-order the game will apparently receive a code that instantly unlocks the trio.

If you haven’t already done so, take a couple of minutes to check out the latest UFC 2 gameplay trailer from EA Sports. Then hit the comments section and let us know if Bas Rutten, Kazushi Sakuraba and Mike Tyson are enough to get you to pre-order a copy of EA Sports UFC 2.

EA Sports UFC 2 is being developed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is scheduled to debut on March 15.
