It’s time to start hunting in Azuma with Wild Hearts now available. This new kind of hunting game invites players to an epic adventure set in fantasy medieval Japan. Players get to battle against Kemono beasts with the help of sophisticated ancient technology called Karakuri.
The game is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and PC through the RA App, Epic Game Store, and Steam.
Beware the Kemono
There are various Kemono that players can encounter in the game, including the Amaterasu hawk, Kingtusk wild boar, and Golden Tempest wind tiger. Kemono typically have the power of nature to reshape their surroundings to meet their needs.
One way to fight against the Kemono is by using Karakuri technology, which lets players shape and adapt their environment into hunting grounds.
Go on a Hunt
In Wild Hearts, players take a journey across Azuma as either a lone wolf or pack-hunt with up to two friends, courtesy of co-op and crossplay features across all platforms. Players can expand their battle plans and even go on special missions while pack hunting. They can also join other hunters around the world or take on the Kemono solo.
To have a fighting chance against the Kemono, players need to master the Karakuri systems, like constructing a basic crate, spring and torch Karakuri, and learning Fusion Karakuri to counterattack the Kemono. There’s also the Dragon Karakuri which needs players to draw power from the land to construct it.
