Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is scheduled to launch on January 15 for the PC via Steam and the Humble Store. Developed by Acquire and published by Xseed Games, Wizardry was first launched back in 2011 for the PlayStation 3. The PC version comes with improved visuals along with all previously released DLC content bundled in. The Wizardry PC release also includes a new Turbo Mode that speeds up the player’s dungeon crawling.
Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is an old-school challenge that is comes in a colorful and crisp package and revitalizes the time-honored formula of the original dungeon crawler series with modernized visuals and sound.
In the game, players form a team of six members and choose each members’ gender, race, class, and even moral alignment. After that the team then goes into one of several dungeons near the central town hub. Take care though, as the dungeons have monsters that are vicious, deadly, and can attack in packs. In between expeditions, take the chance to chat with the locals and pick up new quests. Players can even go bargain-hunting for new and rare equipment.

- Build you six-person team from five races and eight classes. You can even change their classes mid-adventure in order to fit whatever it is you need. Otherwise you can focus on leveling up their primary class in order to earn the needed bonus skills.
- Beautiful Yet Dangerous
- Fight with an assortment of more than 100 unique monsters. These include traditional ones all the way to the bizarre. All of the monsters have been drawn by none other than illustrator Jun Suemi. The game even has character illustrations from Yuki Hayabusa.
- Conquer the Dungeons
- Each step in the dungeons is filled with danger where one wrong move can end everything. However, if you have the courage to overcome everything, your party members can get enough experience to eventually stroll through the dungeons like they were your own.
Upon release, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls received mixed reviews with criticism focused on the amount of grind along with unrewarding payoffs. However, it was praised for its addictive and challenging combat.
