Bonz, the latest Legendary Duelist, has arrived onto the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links mobile game, bringing with him a handful of new Zombie monster cards and support.
This new duelist will appear in the Duel Monster world (not GX ) from Oct. 12 to Oct. 20. Players can duel him and his Ghost Deck for new cards, including his signature card, Pumpking the King of Ghosts. Of course, there are drop rewards for dueling Bonz, as well as special missions that will unlock cards, card sleeves and a mat for completing certain tasks.
Players will want to challenge Bonz when he appears in the Duel World to get his more powerful cards as a reward. The higher your stage level is, the higher level Bonz will be. The higher the level, the higher the drop rate for Bonz’s cards will appear as a reward.

Bonz’s strategy is to raise the attack of his monsters using Castle of Dark Illusions. He’ll also look to lower the attack of your monsters with Pumprincess and Wonder Balloons. Castle of Dark Illusions can be tricky to get around with almost 2000 defense, but the strategy here is rather simple: get as many high-attack monsters as fast as possible on the field to overwhelm Bonz.
He’s rather easy to defeat, even at Level 40, because he doesn’t have much in terms of Traps to stop your attacks. He will try and stall you out with Masked of the Accursed and Nightmare’s Steelcage. As long as you don’t fall into it and allow him to set up, you’ll be fine.
