Assassin’s Creed Origins is now official, and players can pre-order a copy already, despite the game not releasing until Oct. 27. Like just about every other game, there are also multiple versions to pre-order ranging from a basic game copy to more and more special editions. While this is common to see, what isn’t common is the price tag on Assassin’s Creed Origins’ most special of the special editions.
Called the Assassin’s Creed Origins Dawn Of The Creed Legendary Edition, pre-ordering this version of Assassin’s Creed Origins will cost $799.99. That’s not a typo, the special edition of one game costs the same as getting both an Xbox One X and a 1TB PS4 Slim. So what do you actually get for the price?
A very fancy statue.
Included in the Legendary Edition is a copy of the game, access to a pre-order mission and a naval mission, the Desert Cobra Pack (exclusive equipment you get at the start of the game), the season pass, a physical world map, a copy of the game’s soundtrack, an artbook, a Steelbook case, Bayek’s eagle skull amulet in resin, two original art cards, four lithographs and a numbered 28.7-inch tall Bayek and Senu statue. If you are unaware, Bayek is the main character of Assassin’s Creed Origins and Senu is his eagle buddy.
If you want to secure your copy of Assassin’s Creed Origins without busting out the big bucks, there are six other pre-order options. Each bundle has its own bonuses and extras, but pre-ordering any version will include access to the pre-order mission. The standard pre-order costs $59.99, with all other versions ranging from $69.99 to $159.99. A quick break-down of all the extras can be found below, including which bundle has which item.
