Epic Games has established itself as the superior gaming developer in terms of crossovers and collaborations, with thousands of skins made available to its battle royale, "Fortnite," in its colorful run.
It is now taking things up a notch now as it brings back one of the most iconic and rare skins in the game that has not been seen for almost five years now.
This skin is from Epic Games and Gearbox Software's crossover that brought "Borderlands 3" to "Fortnite," centering on one bundle that has been greatly missed but never forgotten by players.

In a short clip shared by "Fortnite" on its X account, the game announced the return of the iconic skin featuring Psycho Bandit and Claptrap, which is now available again. The video pans over the map before zooming in to the returning skin that has been highly missed by the fans, with many requesting its availability over and over again.
With the thousands of skins made available to "Fortnite" via crossovers and collaborations, the game had to remove some of them to make way for new arrivals.
Psycho Bandit and Claptrap are two iconic characters from "Borderlands 3," and they were introduced on "Fortnite" as a bundle for when purchasing the game via the Epic Games Store.
That being said, fans who have not yet bought their copy of "Borderlands 3" on the Epic Games Store may now purchase the skin bundle without a requirement, making it directly available on the Item Shop for 2,000 V-Bucks, as rumored.
It's Been 5 Years Since the Skin's Availability
Back in 2019, "Borderlands 3" came out and alongside this, Gearbox Software struck up a deal with Epic Games to cross-promote the game via "Fortnite" by making Psycho Bandit and Claptrap available in the battle royale game.
According to ComicBook Gaming, Epic Games has taken down and brought back both Psycho Trap and Claptrap's skins multiple times in the game before it finally disappeared in May 2020.
Previously, users had to purchase "Borderlands 3" via the Epic Games Store to get Psycho Bandit and Claptrap's bundle, but this is no longer the case as they make their return to "Fortnite." Moreover, Psycho Bandit and Claptrap are considered rare skins in the battle royale, but it is now allowing players to obtain the duo easily by purchasing them from the Item Shop.
Epic Games did not reveal the reason behind the skins' return, but it was speculated by ComicBook Gaming that it is possibly because of a new deal between Epic Games and Gearbox Software that pushed for the bundle to be brought back.
That being said, it remains unknown how much Psycho Bandit and Claptrap will be priced and how long will they be available in the Item Shop before being taken down again.
