Finally!
Finally! ArtPlay

The mobile version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is finally here. Available for both Android and iOS, the game is priced at $9.99. Mobile players can expect the same gameplay found in the console and PC versions. The mobile game includes a gigantic map that players can explore along with at least 120 unique mobs and bosses to defeat.

Being released worldwide, the game is fully localized in these languages:

  • Japanese
  • English
  • Italian
  • French
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Russian
  • Portuguese
  • Korean
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese

Even on the mobile platform, developers made no compromise on visual quality or gameplay fidelity. Changes include the overhauled UI with the shard icons redesigned. The mobile version features the DLC of the console version too without extra charge.

There’s also a new achievement system where players can check their progress and even challenge other players. Those who unlock all achievements will get a special surprise. Mobile players can use the Ultimate Ability Shortcut Key as well. It includes unique icons and the Suit Shortcut Key.

A new Randomizer Mode offers players a never-ending experience. It works with each new playthrough through missions, map areas, shop locations, mob spawn points, and key item spawn points.

Mobile players will enjoy the original Gothic music score present in other versions. It even has the original voice actors like Ami Koshimizu (Miriam) and Shusaku Shirakawa (Gebel).

What else? Well, players who finish the story with a good ending will unlock a new playable character named Zangetsu. His weapon is a Katana and can activate a furious special attack using MP.

Developer ArtPlay revealed that future updates on the mobile version will add new content. The updates will introduce a new playable character, boss rush mode, and even a speedrun mode.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for mobile is launched by ArtPlay in partnership with NetEase Games. Talking about this collaboration, Producer and Writer Koji Igarashi said that they are happy to work with NetEase. He “believe NetEase Games is fully capable of delivering the charm of Bloodstained onto mobile devices and bringing the excitement of battle and exploration to mobile gamers.”

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was first released for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
