If you were interested in playing Dishonored 2, but weren’t sure if you wanted to spend that much money on something you might not enjoy, a free trial will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC starting April 6. This news comes from a post on the Bethesda website.
The free trial will be located on the store page for Dishonored 2 on all three consoles. If you do decide you want to buy Dishonored 2 after the trial is complete, you’ll be able to start right where you left off, without having to do the same missions over again. You’ll even be able to keep all of your saves, if you want to jump back to a previous point and change and choices you’ve made.
So what’s included in the trial? A surprisingly decent amount of content. The first three missions of the campaign will be included, and players will be able to play as either Emily Kaldwin or Covro Attano. Seeing as how each level of Dishonored 2 is so incredibly dense with so many things to see and people to talk to, the first three missions can offer hours of gameplay.
iDigitalTimes gave Dishonored 2 a four out of five stars, praising the game’s design and gameplay, while wishing there was more of a narrative hook to suck you in.
