The Division 2 was offline earlier today while the game underwent some maintenance. The latest patch fixes a number of issues, and paves the way for a much bigger fix next week. The servers went offline at 3:30 a.m. EDT, and returned roughly three hours later.
The Division 2 2.0 Patch Notes
The update today doesn’t add any new content or customization options, but it does fix several issues players have experienced so far. The full patch notes for today’s update are as follows, courtesy of the official Ubisoft forums:
Fixed not being able to fast travel to the Castle settlement.
Fixed several cases of abnormal Bounty boss skill-use behaviour.
Fixed an issue causing the Nemesis crafting materials to be unobtainable.
Fixed Delta-03 error occurring at the end of Conflict matches.
Fixed an issue that would cause the pathfinding line to behave abnormally when in close proximity to your destination.
Fixed the “donating” sound playing repeatedly after having donated and abandoned a daily mission.
Fixed an issue related to cache countdown timers.
Fixed an issue where Specialization ammunition drop rate was lower than intended
It looks like the biggest change addressed in the update is the Specialization ammunition drop rate. This ammo had a lower drop rate than anticipated, so the update has increased the chances of you running into Specialization ammo moving forward. Unfortunately, Ubisoft didn’t share exactly how much of an increase the drop rate received. The other fixes are more minor bugs that you might not have even encountered while playing.
While today’s update is on the smaller side, Ubisoft is gearing up for a much larger update to release next week. More information about the 2.1 patch can be found here.
The Division 2 is now available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
