The comic and animated series mayhem continues as "Fortnite" has teased another crossover with the Amazon Prime Video show "Invincible," which is coming soon.
The team over at "Fortnite" has not yet revealed the new skins coming to the game, but it has been rumored that likes of Omni-Man, Atom Eve, and Invincible may come back to the Item Shop.
'Fortnite' x 'Invincible' Crossover Continues, New Teaser Released
It has been almost two years since "Fortnite" first crossed over with Amazon Prime Video's "Invincible" with a two-way collaboration that saw the show's characters coming to the game. Ever since, there has been clamor for the return of the crossover.
Over on X, many users have asked for more "Invincible" skins to arrive via a potential Wave 2, and the official "Fortnite" account on X replied with a side-eye emoji.
This is in no way a confirmation that there would be a guaranteed Wave 2 of this iconic crossover, but many have taken this as a hint of what's to come. As Season 3 is underway, "Fortnite" may yet again be right on time for another "Invincible" crossover as it is important to note that the game previously launched its collaboration around the season end of Season 2.
A fan has replied to "Fortnite's" comment about the Wave 2 speculations, saying that they want to see Invincible's new blue suit, which is his new costume after the events of the previous season. "Fortnite" replied with a thinking emoji, which may indicate that the company is considering this look for the teenage superhero.
Again, there has not been any official confirmation regarding this crossover. Fans will have to wait and see if it'll actually become a reality?
Which 'Invincible' Characters May Join 'Fortnite'
Over the past years, "Invincible" has established a variety of characters and heroes that play massive roles in the series, and with their notable character writing and progression, fans have grown to love them along the way.
One of the possible characters speculated to join "Fortnite" is Allen the Alien, a beloved recurring character in the series which has been growing in fame in the past seasons, according to ComicBook Gaming.
Moreover, there are also side characters from the series, including Rex Splode, Angstrom Levy, the Mauler Twins, and more.
There is also a possibility that Mark's (Invincible's) younger half-brother, Oliver Grayson, who is best known in the comics as Kid Omni-Man, may also be considered for the "Fortnite" skin.
