There may not be too many activities this December for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. But that doesn’t mean they’re any less exciting. This month, the Community Day is taking wizards to the skies again with the Quidditch Pitch II. It’s going to be this Saturday, December 12, from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM, local time.

- Reveals more Community Day Traces
- Only takes 1 hour to brew
- Master Notes reduce brew time by 50%
- A special 1km Portmanteau that rewards Slytherin Quidditch Banner fragments.
Other December Activities
For December activities, the Hogwarts for the Holidays Brilliant Event Part 1 is set to end today. Part 2 of this event starts December 22 and lasts until December 29. For Part 2, Trainers need to return Brilliant Foundables from the Brilliant Moving Staircase II. These include Portraits of Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw.
That’s not all. During the whole month, all visits to Inns and Greenhouses grant players a Gift and all events include Gifts as a reward.
A Dark Warning
In addition to different activities, it seems that Dark forces are not only working in the background but also preparing to make their move. This all started with a memo released by Constance Pickering, the head of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force. The memo has a code pointing to the possible involvement of the Death Eaters. Learn more about that here.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite was released in 2019 for both Android and iOS. The game makes use of augmented reality and lets players fight against mythical beasts from the Harry Potter franchise. Much like the series, players get to choose their wizarding house and wand. They also get to select their profession, which are Auror, Magizoologist, or Professor.
The game is developed by Niantic, the same company that released Pokémon GO. This is why the game has the same feel. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite won the People's Voice Award for "Technical Achievement" during the 2020 Webby Awards.
