Hearthstone received a small patch that introduces a change for Hysteria from the Darkmoon Races Mini-Set. Patch 19.4.1 also makes some balance adjustments for Duels along with different improvements.
When it was first released, Hysteria’s card text was “Choose a minion. It attacks random minions until it dies.” With the update, it now reads as “Choose an enemy minion. It attacks random minions until it dies.”
That means players now have to choose an enemy minion. The effect somewhat limits players who use Priest and Warlock decks as they now can’t choose their strong minions to go on a rampage.
Patch 19.4.1 makes specific balances to Hero Powers in Duels. Outlander, for example, no longer has its Hero Power be passive and instead now has one mana cost. For Death Games, the effect no longer works on any minions but now triggers the Deathrattle of a friendly minion. There’s no question that these two are small changes yet can surely have an impact on gameplay.
Changes too were done to Signature Treasures. Bonecrusher not only has its cost increased from six to eight but now has the Beast tag. Speaking of tag, Herald of the Scaled Ones now has the Dragon tag. Other modifications include the lowered costs for Fractured Spirits (now four from five) and Royal Greatsword (reduced to five from six).
Updates to the Treasure Pool include Cannibalism being moved from Passive Treasure pool 1 to pool 2. Sandy Surprise, meanwhile, is no longer part of the Passive Treasures pool.

2021 Competitive Scene
Early this week Hearthstone revealed its plans for the 2021 esports scene. One of the good news for those who want to play competitively is the higher chances of being able to join a Masters Tour. The qualifiers for the first one have actually started, but there’s a total of six Masters Tour for this new season. All are going to be done online, and each offers a $250,000 prize pool. Read more about that here.
