Hungry Shark World, the newest shark-themed mobile game by Ubisoft released last week and anyone looking for a new arcade style obsession, this one is worth taking a bite out of.

Hungry Shark World Tips And Tricks: How To Survive Longer, Get More Coins, Gems And Shark Upgrades
Hungry Shark World Tip #1: Eat Often, Eat All
OK, so a central focus of this game is to eat as many fish as you can. If you stop eating or haven’t eaten anything in a while your health level starts to go into critical and eventually you die. As a result, you need to make it top priority to keep up the eating.
If you see a big school or shoal of fish, EAT THEM ALL or as many as you possibly can. The more fish you eat in a quick succession the higher score you get because a score multiplier is activated. The more you’ve eaten in a row, the higher that multiplier goes. If you manage to eat them all, you’ll get a special “school’s out” bonus that adds a few more points to your score.
Hungry Shark World Tip #2: Want More Gold Coins? Go For Gold Creatures
As you are traveling through the game you’ll notice different sea creatures and even some humans are a gold color. Eat these as often as you can because they give you bonus coins instantly. The more fish you eat in general, the more chance you have of seeing golden sea creatures and humans, because eating fish causes your gold rush bar (at the bottom of the screen) to fill. Once full, a new gold creature appears. It also allows you to activate your Gold Rush feature.
Besides just eating gold creatures there are some addition ways to get more gold in Hungry Shark World.
- Eat floating objects like green jars or cash that you might see floating in the water.
- Once you gold rush meter has filled, press the “Activate” button.
- All creatures will turn gold
- Complete daily missions
- Extend your survival time as long as possible. This increases your total Gold Survival Bonus at the end
Hungry Shark World Tip #3: Get To Know Your Enemies
An important part of surviving longer in Hungry Shark World is not only eating often, but also knowing how to avoid enemies who can take you out. As you are eating your way through the game, you’ll sometimes see an alert that lets you know the creature you’re attempting to devour is too big for you. Take note of those creatures and keep you distance. Otherwise, you’ll lose out big time on your health points. For beginning players, a few creatures to avoid are jellyfish and sharks ( if you get near sharks, use your burst control to speed away quickly before they devour you)
Hungry Shark World Tip #4: Increase Gems By Looking For Purple Haze
Gems play a big role in buying premium items and upgrades for your shark down the road, but they aren’t exactly easy to come by. If you happen to see a fish with a purple glow about it, EAT IT. It’ll give you some much-needed gems. Some fish will glow purple. These fish have gems. Gems are good. They're nippy little buggers, so if you don't have a full boost when you see one there's not much point trying to go after them. If you do though, it's well worth it.
Hungry Shark World Tip #5: Spending Gold On Maps Can Pay Dividends
Spending gold on the map for the area you're playing in can be a good way to help you find all the HUNGRY letters on the map. If you manage to find all the letter before dying, you activate surpersize mode. This mode allows your shark to becomes three times as large, so it can basically eat anything. Purchasing the map will also help you see where the daily chests are. These can contain all kinds of goodies like coins and gems.
Hungry Shark World Tip #6: Complete Daily Challenge Missions To Gain Daily Chest Goodies
So each day you get three missions and if you complete any of them, you get a corresponding reward. These include things like “eat any 5 birds,” which yields 100 extra gold coins. You can check what your daily missions are when you are at the screen with the globe and daily chest info. The missions are found at the bottom middle of the screen
