Marvel’s Avengers is going to be in the news for a few weeks now. The next-gen version of the game is supposed to launch on March 18 along with the next free hero, Hawkeye. But that’s not all, the update will also change cosmetics and XP.
XP is getting a rework in the next update. Right now, the amount of XP needed to level up to the next level is the same from level one to 50. In most games, the amount of XP required to level up increases with each level, but not in Marvel’s Avengers . The developer is aware of that and decided to change how things work in the new update.
When the update is live, you have to earn more XP to level up and this takes effect from level 25 to 50. However, this won’t affect those at level 50 already.
The March 18 update will change how cosmetics are given to the player. Currently, there is a lot of randomness thanks to the strongboxes. The update will disable the loot boxes and the store will only have selected cosmetics, which are mentioned below:
Outfits
- Black Widow’s Dawn and Midnight
- Captain America’s Covert Commando and Freedom Fighter
- Hulk’s Shattered and Fractured
- Iron Man’s Midas and Gunmetal
- Ms. Marvel’s Detailed and Crafted
- Thor’s Hard Hat

Nameplates

- Captain America 6 and 10
