The newest Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter XX , will bring new monsters to hunt and a brand new Hunter Art for players to master. But with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it seems that BOTW fever is making its way to Monster Hunter.
A Monster Hunter XX presentation was held in Japan and collaborations with Breath of the Wild , the Garo television series, Okami and the Strider series were announced. Capcom released trailers for all of the Monster Hunter XX collaborations, which can be seen below.
The Breath of the Wild collaboration will bring the Champion’s Tunic and a special bow for hunters to use in the new Monster Hunter game. There will also be a Korok costume for your Felyne to join you in battle. The effects this new content will have during hunts is not yet known.
Monster Hunter XX is set to release in Japan on March 18 and from the slides, the Breath of the Wild content will be coming to the game starting April 24. There has yet to be a Monster Hunter XX release date announcement for the rest of the world, but we will update as soon as one is released.
