Rockstar could be bringing back a classic to Nintendo Switch. Via GTA 5 tipster Yan2295, Rockstar's brilliant L.A. Noire could be making a comeback on Nintendo's anticipated handheld console hybrid. Yan2295 has consistently leaked solid Rockstar details in the past, including the Red Dead Redemption sequel as well as info on numerous GTA 5 DLCs. Yan shared the following tweet on Saturday:
It's too soon to determine when L.A. Noire will arrive to the Nintendo Switch. At this point, Rockstar is most likely concentrating its resources to completing Red Dead Redemption 2, which is slated for a fall 2017 release date. Given this situation, we expect the remastered L.A. Noire Nintendo Switch port may not arrive until spring 2018.
The original L.A. Noire pioneered in facial motion capture, which delivered a deeper level of authenticity and intensity to the detective interrogations in this 1940's crime drama video game. However, as great as L.A. Noire was in 2011, would it still be relevant on the Nintendo Switch now? It would definitely be more exciting if Rockstar announced RDR2 is coming to Nintendo Switch as well, but most speculators are pessimistic about the odds.
The Nintendo Switch console arrives March 3 with a retail price of $299.99. Will you pick up the Nintendo Switch and are you excited for L.A. Noire on the new console? Let us know in the comments below.
