Rainbow Six Siege is giving those who want in on the action a chance with the upcoming Free Weekend. Starting on March 5 and running through March 8, anyone can play Rainbow Six Siege for free on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. By the way, when Rainbow Six Siege says free, it means free. Thus, for the duration of the event, those who play get access to all maps, all modes, and even the 20 legacy Operators.
It's not just about being able to play for free, though. If you tried out Rainbow Six Siege and want to continue, all you need to do is buy the game and any progress made during the free weekend is going to be carried over. With Operation Void Edge just around the corner, there's no question that this is a good time to get into the hype.
The Rainbow Six Siege free weekend starts March 5 at 8:00 a.m. EST for the PC and PS4. However for the Xbox One, it starts March 5 at 3:00 a.m. EST. The weekend ends for Xbox gamers on March 8 at 6:00 p.m. EST, PS4 gamers on March 9 at 9:00 a.m. EST, and PC gamers on March 9 at 4 p.m. EST.
Making the free weekend even more enticing is that those who make the decision to eventually buy the game can save as much as 70% off the Base Game, though this offer is only good for the PC. Players can also opt for the Deluxe, Gold, or even Ultimate Edition. Don't take too long to decide though, as the sale ends on March 18.
Those who already have the game may not be that excited for the free weekend, but they can head on over the Test Server and get a taste of Operation Void Edge and get to try the new Operators Iana and Oryx.
