The promised June 2 Pokémon Sun and Moon announcement was made on the official Pokémon website and the latest trailer for Sun and Moon formally introduced us to the new box Legendary Pokemon. Take a look in the video above.

There’s a lot going on in the latest Sun and Moon trailer. First off are the names of the box Legendary Pokémon, which are the same as the leaked trademarks weeks ago.

Solgaleo is the giant Lion from the Sun version. It’s a Psychic and Steel type with the new ability Full Metal Body, which prevents it from having its stats lowered.

Its signature move is Sunsteel Strike.

Lunala is the giant bat from the Moon version and it’s a Psychic and Ghost type with the new ability Shadow Shield. It’s effects were not shown in the trailer.

But its signature move is Moongeist Beam.

Trainer customization was confirmed in this trailer and we are also introduced to the professor of the region. Professor Kukui, the young professor with the glasses will be guiding us through the Alola region.

We also have Lillie, Kukui’s mysterious assistant. And Hau, who will presumably be our rival in this generation.

There’s also a new twist with your Pokedex. Rotom will possess your Pokedex in Sun and Moon and will talk to you.

In the May 10 announcement , the Alola region was introduced with the starters being revealed. Pokémon trainers now have months to decide whether to choose the Grass owl, Rowlet, the fire cat, Litten or the water sea lion, Popplio.

Pokémon Sun and Moon will release Nov. 18.
