E3 returns to LA once again this year from June 13 to 15. The big event is still more than four months away, but the official site has already confirmed more than 70 companies will be participating in the show. Of course, the reason why you're reading this article is to find out whether Rockstar will attend the expo and showcase its highly anticipated title, Red Dead Redemption 2.
Unfortunately, we don't know, but we do have a reason to be optimistic: the E3 site did include Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive to its roster. This piece of information was first spotted by @GTANet and shared on Twitter:
Take-Two Interactive also participated at E3 in 2016, which of course drove a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 speculation last year as well. However, we ultimately learned that Take-Two was promoting 2K Games' Mafia 3 title. Rockstar wouldn't announce RDR2 until later last year.
However, this year's E3 may be different. We already know that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming and it also seems like an appropriate time to kickstart an RDR2 marketing campaign.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to release for Xbox One and PS4 in fall 2017. Stay tuned as we learn more about E3 and RDR2 in the months ahead!
