In a statement, Hopoo Games co-founder Duncan Drummond revealed that one of the key design pillars of the game was to make sure that no two runs are the same. He went on to say that this has never been truer with the new expansion. Drummond added that they’re excited to see players get their hands on the expansion.
Meanwhile, co-founder Paul Morse shared that it was almost a decade ago when he and Duncan started to make the original Risk of Rain. He said that they never expected to have a passionate community or to be able to reach millions of players worldwide.
Risk of Rain 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia.
