Not everything is a spoiler. If it’s not ruining a crucial plot point from the third act, it’s usually not a spoiler. But this I’m about to tell you. This is a spoiler. A big one. The kind best avoided. You’ve been warned.

Anakin Skywalker may have a nude scene in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Keep your eyes open at :20 in this behind-the-scenes Rogue One: A Star Wars Story “Creature Featurette”:

The eagle eyes at Star Wars News Net noticed a major slip-up. A torso model that looks suspiciously like the sliced-up Anakin Skywalker appears in the background. Take a look:

It looks like Anakin Skywalker, and not just Darth Vader, will have a cameo in 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.'

That’s definitely Anakin.

So what is Darth Vader’s naked, decimated body doing in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story?

It probably has something to do with this:

Is Darth Vader's naked torso taking a ride in this bacta tank?

This image, of what looks like a bacta tank (like the kind used to heal Luke in The Empire Strikes Back) flanked by the elite Imperial Guard has lead to speculation that the Emperor himself may appear in Rogue One. But combined with the de-armored Vader, there’s now another possible answer: Vader is in that bacta tank and we’ll get to witness the gruesome spectacle of Anakin’s demolished body “getting dressed.”

This could mean a couple things. Perhaps Darth Vader is already wounded at the beginning of Rogue One, possibly due to events on Star Wars Rebels. Or perhaps he is wounded during the plot of Rogue One. It could also be that Darth Vader periodically hops in a bacta tank to heal up, making this an early version of the dome where he takes off his helmet in the Star Wars Original Trilogy. Or maybe Darth just prefers to travel naked, floating in a bacta tank.

Whatever the reason, someone messed up big time by leaving this immense Rogue One spoiler in the background of a featurette. When Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on Dec. 15, we’re likely to see Darth Vader at his most exposed and vulnerable.
