The new Splatoon 2 update (version 1.1.2) fixes the SplatNet Gear Shop and how abilities are distributed on the gear. It also fixes an issue where records can’t be properly viewed when players go to “Past Records” for League Battle.
But the biggest change in the first Splatoon 2 update adjusts how many points certain weapons need to fill up their special gauge.
