In How To Get Away With Murder Season 3 episode 4, which airs at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC, Annalise is in jail and has had her law license suspended after it comes to light that she slapped a client.
In episode 3 , Annalise and Keating 5 take on a case for their pro bono clinic, defending a man who killed an unsuspecting woman. During the case, the lawyers learn, not only was their client not in financial need, but he also killed a second woman. They were able to detract the second murder from their client by pinning it one someone else.
The client complains when Annalise is only able to get his sentence reduced to three years (instead of acquitted) and she slaps him. In episode 4, Annalise learns that the interaction was recorded and she is immediately punished.
While Annalise is in jail, the Keating 5 are on their own, dealing with a new clinic case and are apparently keeping a secret from Annalise as well, according to the episode title.
Will Annalise get her law license back? We will find out more during episode 4 “Don't Tell Annalise,” which is best viewed on television or live online through ABC Live .
