The next set of names from the WWE 2K18 roster list have been announced, continuing the four-week reveal series that began earlier this month. The latest batch of names tends to skew pretty young, bringing many of WWE’s up and coming talent to consoles for the first time, but a handful of WWE Legends and superstars of yester-year confirmed for the WWE 2K18 roster, too.
This week’s list, which includes 41 previously unconfirmed WWE Superstars, is the third batch of names to be confirmed for the WWE 2K18 roster. All of the reveals have been a combined effort, announced in tandem with IGN (as has been the case for the last 15ish years), and feature a mix new and established talent from WWE’s growing stable of TV shows. Most of the current WWE champions have already been confirmed for the roster, including current heavyweight champions Brock Lesnar and Jinder Mahal, US Champion AJ Styles, Intercontinental Champion The Miz and the tag team champions from Raw and Smackdown. Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss joined the list this week, along with former best friend Nia Jax, and a cornucopia of recent NXT graduates.
Those recent graduates include Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, the duo known as The Revival, along with former cruiserweight champion TJ Perkins and Finn Bálor. The current NXT roster also gets a fair amount of representation, including appearances from #DIY, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, and the Authors of Pain, Akam and Rezar.
