October is quickly coming to an end and as the month closes out, Xbox announces new ‘Games With Gold’ free games coming in November.
Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download four new games, two of which are Xbox 360 with backwards compatibility on the Xbox One.
First, members can download Super Dungeon Bros and Murdered: Soul Suspect (both are available to buy now at $19.99) for the Xbox One. Super Dungeon Bros. will be available during the entire month of November. Murdered: Soul Suspect will be free starting Nov. 16 to Dec. 15.
First on the list will be Super Dungeon Bros by Wired Productions – venture on your own or team up with your rocking squad of up to four players in ‘Rökheim.’ Rock the house down as you battle away cross platform between Xbox One and Windows 10, also available offline. Super Dungeon Bros features an unlimited amount of dungeons with quests. You can play as fearless Freddie, brave Axl, sweet Lars, or as the joker of the clan, Ozzie.
Murdered: Soul Suspect by Square Enix is up next. You play as a detective who “never lost a fight”, Detective Ronan O’Connor. Trapped in the afterlife after being confronted and murdered during a burglary, Detective O’Connor searches for an escape from this afterlife to bring light to the true reason for his death.
As for free games available for the Xbox 360, the arcade title, Monkey Island: Special Edition ($9.99) by LucasArts is backwards compatible for the Xbox One and will be available for free to download from Nov. 1 to Nov. 15. Monkey Island: SE reimagines the classic game released in 1990 for a new generation of players. Players control Guybrush Threepwood, a dreamer and hopes to become a pirate by exploring islands and solving puzzles.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon ($14.99) by Ubisoft is another backwards compatible title coming to the Xbox One that will be free from Nov. 16 to Nov. 30. Blood Dragon is a stand-alone game that is separate from Far Cry 3, but it’s still a highlight for the franchise. Players take on the role of Sergeant Rex “Power” Colt in a comedic first-person shooter that puts you back in the 1980s, mocking cheesy action movies and video games.
