Although I never thought about building an all-white gaming PC, the new RTX 2080 Super White Edition from Asus has got me thinking that I should consider building one. The Asus Strix RTX 2080 Super White Edition is a boon to PC gamers that prefer a minimalistic design.
It doesn't matter how your current PC setup looks like, the RTX 2080 Super White Edition is a great graphics card for gamer, with performance capable of producing 1440p and 4K graphics, all while at a 'fairly' reasonable price. It is one of the fastest graphics cards you can find today that supports real-time ray tracing, and it's going to hold up for a long time to come.
The RTX 2080 Super White edition comes clocked at 1,650MHz base clock and 1,860MHz boost clock in Gaming mode. The card also comes with an OC mode that boosts the clock speeds up to 1,890MHz.
Basically, the RTX 2080 Super White Edition is an overclocked 2080 Super featuring an all-white shroud and, of course, RGB lighting. Asus also stated that the graphics card comes with all premium components, a three-axial fan cooling solution, and a precision-machined plate.
Asus has also said that the RTX 2080 Super White Edition is the first entry in its Super White Edition lineup, and gamers can expect to see more Super White products at CES, including a motherboard, case, cooler, and headphones. Just a heads up, though. If you're planning to go for an all-white setup, it would be wise to stock up on some dust filters.
Although all of this information sounds cool, Asus has yet to reveal when the RTX 2080 is going to be available, and how much it will cost.
