With the upcoming Battlefest 2019 set to be released this October, Battlefield 5 is offering players Free Weekend Trials. It's not just one weekend, though, but a total of three weekends for everyone to enjoy. The trials give newbies the chance to experience all-out war while veterans can use this to strengthen their teams by inviting friends.
The first free weekend was already held last October 10-13 and let players try out Rush. In this mode, players attack or defend the objectives and must always keep an ear out for artillery strikes. Don't worry if you missed out on the fun as two more free weekends are coming.
Weekend 2: Infantry-Focused Conquest
The second free weekend trial starts October 17 and ends October 20. Players can engage in the flag-capping rumbles of Conquest, which is the most classic way to experience the brand of all-out war offered by Battlefield. This mode is played on infantry-focused maps like Operation Underground, Rotterdam, Devastation, Marita, and Arras. Players race to complete tasks to earn a coveted weekly reward, which is the Trench Carbine.
Weekend 3: Grand Operations
The third free weekend trial starts October 24 and ends October 27 and this time players take on a on a high-flying experience with Airborne. Take charge and lead invasions on maps like Twisted Steel, Narvik, Hamada, Rotterdam, and Panzerstorm. This weekend also comes with a very special challenge for all in the community. Completing the challenges lets players earn the anti-aircraft Fliegerfaust gadget.
The Free Weekend Trials are part of Battlefest 2019, which offers players community events, challenges, and a chance to earn unique rewards. It also serves as a warm-up before Chapter 5 and its Pacific battles arrive. You can read more about Battlefest 2019 here.
