Supercell has announced their new Fair Play initiative , and it doesn’t bode well if you happen to be one of those Boom Beach or Clash of Clans players with a tendency to try to get your mitts on some easy gems. Think of the Fair Play initiative as a new constitution from Supercell, one that says they will ban you if you break it.
Third party software is no longer allowed to be used with Clash of Clans or Boom Beach , although Supercell technically only is prohibiting the third party software that manipulates gameplay. So if you enjoy playing Clash of Clans or Boom Beach on your PC with Bluestacks, well, you’re running a risk.
Bluestacks allows players to employ various hacks and cheats on Clash of Clans and Boom Beach , primarily the “Always Active” and “Ghost Attack” cheats. The former stops players from ever having their base attacked, by making sure their client always reads as being active, while the latter allows players to practice an attack over and over again before committing to their troops.
It’s been reported that several high level clans in Clash of Clans employ the “Always Active” hack to keep their win streaks going.
Under the new Fair Play initiative, account selling and trading is officially a prohibited offense, as is participating in the underground, black market for gems.
