Dauntless Brings Important Changes to Hunt Passes in Patch 1.10.0

Patch 1.10.0
Patch 1.10.0 Phoenix Labs

Developer Phoenix Labs has launched Patch 1.10.0 for Dauntless. This update brings some important changes to Hunt Passes moving forward. It also implements various improvements and bug fixes.

Change to Hunt Passes

There are some huge changes to Hunt Passes in Patch 1.10.0. First, players can now purchase two types: Cosmetic and the Slayer’s Commission.

The cosmetic Hunt Pass is quite similar to the previously introduced passes in Dauntless, except that the rewards have been condensed to just 30 levels. This means that players can get the goods much faster than before. Even though there’s no free track on cosmetic Hunt Passes anymore, players who purchase them need not worry as they are permanent and will never expire.

The Slayer’s Commission Hunt Pass, on the other hand, has a free track and consists of 100 levels of useful rewards, including rams, merits, bounty tokens, transmog tokens, aethersparks, and platinum. What’s more, players can almost recoup the platinum they’ve spent on purchasing the Elite track because they can get 750 platinum after completing all 100 levels. Unlike the cosmetic variant, however, the Slayer’s Commission Hunt Pass expires every season. But there’s no reason to be sad as a new one will be available at the start of the next season.
