At this point in Game of Thrones Season 7, no one really understands how Jedi Bran can “see” everything at once. He can warg, but also time travel and witness certain events. But he is everywhere, and we may’ve seen him in the episode.

This may sound ridiculous, but we've seen some pretty weird stuff before on Game of Thrones. Jon’s sword Longclaw was at the center of a discussion between him and Jorah Mormont as they traveled beyond the Wall. Jon tried to give it back -- Longclaw formerly belonged to Jorah's father, Jeor Mormont, who led the Night’s Watch -- but he refused to take back the sword. Jorah said he wasn’t deserving of the sword, and that Jon should keep it to give to his children.

We see Longclaw again when Jon has to fight off the wights. He’s taking down wights left and right, but stops dead in his tracks as he watches The Night’s King kill Viserion using a magical ice spear thing. Jon realizes The Night’s King is about to kill Drogon, and yells to Dany to retreat with the crew. Dany watches as Jon is swarmed by wights.

Long story short, Jon and a few of those wights fall in the ice water. The camera eventually closes in on Longclaw at the edge of the hole in the ice, then to Jon when he emerges into the water. The first thing he does is reclaim the sword. Jon encounters Coldhands Benjen, who sacrifices himself to save Jon.

So where’s Bran in all this? It’s better if we show you. Look at Longclaw’s eye.

It's silver, right?

Now, it's black.

You may’ve missed it, but Longclaw’s eyes turned from white back to black. It seems like Bran warged into Longclaw, which is both cool and confusing. Cool because it’s a sword, confusing because it’s a sword. So now Bran can warg into Valyrian steel swords? How will that help in the battle against the Night’s King? We have more questions about Bran now more than ever. Then again, the idea of Bran warging into Longclaw might be a bunch of BS; it could be as simple as a shift in light that made the black eyes look silver.

Still, the possibility of Bran warging into the sword is an intriguing one. Valyrian steel is forged with intensely powerful magic, and is one of the few substances capable of killing White Walkers. Doubt the Night King would think about looking for Bran in a sword? What do you think about Bran possibly warging into Longclaw? Let us know in the comments below. Game of Thrones Season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
