At the Xbox X019 event, Microsoft announced that Halo: Reach will finally be coming to PC on December 3. Halo: Reach is the first part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection to make the jump to PC. Of course, Halo: Reach is not where everything began, but players can still get a gist of what the series is about. Reach is a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, with players getting to play as Noble Six instead of the more common Halo protagonist, Master Chief.
The Halo roster will eventually comprise a grand total of six Halo games on PC. The roster begins with Halo: Reach, which will be followed by a remastered Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo: ODST, and Halo 4. However, Halo 5 does not make it to the roster list and refuses to come to PC.
Halo: Reach will be available for the Xbox One and PC on December 3. The game is available through PC Games Pass and Xbox Game Pass. However, the game is also extremely cheap and can be pre-ordered for $9.99. Halo: Reach only requires a GTX 770 or RX 480 to run with 4K resolution.
