The Hearthstone 2020 World Championship is ready to kick off this Saturday, December 12. Eight players are going at it to get a large share of the $500,000 prize pool. Of course, there’s also the spot in the Hall of Champions.
That’s not all as Hearthstone has partnered with T-Mobile. This offers fans a little something extra. Instead of waiting around, fans can choose ahead one of the competitors as their champion. Then, they'll receive Hearthstone card packs as rewards. The rewards are based on how their champion performed.
Here’s how the event works:
- Choose your champion
- During the selection window, choose a champion.
- Choose well since once you’ve locked your pick, you can’t change it.
- Cheer them on to glory
- Follow what’s happening in the tournament and see how your champion is progressing.
- Reap Rewards
- Earn card packs.
