Just hearing Keanu Reeves say that in the brand new John Wick: Chapter 2 trailer just gives me goosebumps. The original John Wick came completely out of left field in 2014 and now it’s time for not-Neo to kick some more ass. This time around, he’s brought some buddies, including Laurence Fishburne as not-Morpheus.
In Chapter 2 , John Wick goes to Rome to take care of some unfinished business the only way he knows how – with guns a blazin’ and a nice tailored suit. Not every movie has to be a deep emotional epic that takes you on a rollercoaster ride of feels. Sometimes it’s fun to just watch shooting and explosions. John Wick: Chapter 2 is in the middle, between the idiocy of the Transformers franchise and any Kubrick film.
John Wick: Chapter 2 slides into theaters Feb. 10, 2017 so make sure to mark your calendars.
