With a new League of Legends patch comes a new PBE cycle and new skins . Mecha Zero Sion has finally been revealed, and he looks badass. He transforms into a train when he uses his ultimate, which is as silly as it sounds, but that’s what makes it so cool. Sometimes it’s good to have skins that aren’t “grimdark” serious like Grave lord Azir or any of the pirate skins. The four Urf Day skins are coming out soon, which contain some of the silliest skins Riot has ever made. Mecha Zero Sion should be a Legendary skin and cost 1820 RP.
Program Lissandra and Program Soraka are the two other skins on the PBE, and they follow the same “robot” theme. They get brand new VFX, recall animations and have a robot filter over their voices. Program Lissandra looks to be the leader; a few iBlitzcranks can even be seen in the background of her splash art. Her base is covered in hexagons, making her look like she’s in a virtual world. All of her abilities got cool updates, including her claw, which now has orange accents and talons. My favorite part of this skin is her ultimate, which if used on herself turns her into a giant eyeball watch tower.
Program Soraka is just as cool. The model reminds me of Arcee, the only real female Transformer. Soraka’s kit has gone digital, and all of her abilities look like they belong in an early 1990s VHS on how to use the internet. Her Starcall drops a satellite onto the field which then explodes. Her heals have a green Matrix-like hue to them. Both Program skins will cost 1350 RP.
A new ward skin that looks like a cross between Mecha Zero Sion’s train mode and Glados from Portal will be available for 640 RP. All of these skins should be available in April.
