NBA 2K18 VC Glitches That Work After The 1.04 Update

NBA 2K18 was recently updated to version 1.04 across PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. With those changes to the code in mind, we’ve found two new glitches to help get the VC you need without spending real-world money. Here are the methods.

1. At the main menu, go to Options/Features and set the CPU/User Sliders on Settings to Hall Of Fame. Set the main difficulty setting to Hall Of Fame as well with a quarter length of 2 minutes.
2. Go to Play Now and make a matchup of a good team versus a really bad team. Josh’s video uses the Warriors and Nets as examples.
3. Once the game begins, open the pause menu and select Choose Sides. Put the controller in the middle to let the CPU take over.
4. With a handful of seconds left, go to Choose Sides again and move the controller to the leading team. Most of the time it will be the Warriors.
5. Run around for a few seconds and claim your victory.
6. You get 200-400 VC every time and the glitch can be done about every five minutes. If you rinse and repeat, you should be able to earn about 16,000 VC per hour.

A More Lucrative Method For MyCareer Vets [Courtesy Of DominusIV ]

This method exploits NBA 2K18’s endorsement check system, so you can earn your VC payouts faster. Your MyPlayer has to be playing well enough that he’s endorsed to the point of getting at least 1,000 VC per check. If that’s not you, use the VC glitch above.

1. Once you’ve been paid a check, sim four games and play the fifth game.
2. Quit and sim the game to the end. You won’t get any VC for doing that, but, especially if your MyPlayer gets lots of minutes, it gets you to your next check much quicker.
3. Move forward about three games and sim to the end again.
4. Repeat this loop and you’ll start picking up checks at the end of games pretty quickly. The source YouTuber was able to get about two checks every 15 minutes. Depending on your endorsement scheme, that could yield as much as 8,000 VC.

Again, this second method is only for those who’ve spent lots of time in the NBA 2K18 MyCareer grind already, but it’s still a decent way to get things done. As the headline implies, either method is active within the 1.04 update. Both options have their drawbacks, but 2K is generally pretty skilled at patching glitches that lead to huge rewards instantly.
