With the January Nintendo Switch presentation approaching, Nintendo has announced the day and time where fans can watch the latest information on the hybrid console from Japan.
On Thursday, Jan. 12, at 11 p.m. EST, Nintendo fans can tune into the official Nintendo website to follow along with all of the Nintendo Switch details as they come straight from the source, but what is expected at this event?
When the Nintendo Switch was first revealed, there was a lot of information absent. While the Nintendo Switch trailer was fun and got a lot of gamers hyped, questions about the hybrid console soon followed.
First and foremost, this January the price and official release date for the Nintendo Switch should be revealed at this event.
Whether Nintendo will get more in-depth with the specs of the Nintendo Switch is unclear but the first slate of games should be announced at the event, especially the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild .
There are a lot of rumors surrounding the Nintendo Switch’s launch slate of games and the trailer revealed some possible titles, including Mario Kart , a new Mario game and a ton of third-party games.
Third-party titles were a big deal when the Switch was revealed so more information on what titles are making the jump to Nintendo’s new console would go a long way to get some hardcore gamers on-board.
Reports of a Super Smash Bros. port are also making its way around the internet so it seems that Nintendo will have plenty of games to choose from when the Nintendo Switch debuts in March.
